Seniors’ Mixer Classes to Kick Off in New Year

Red Hat Whimsical Wench Deborah and friend, Ian, test flew the mixer concept
last year and found it more than met expectations!
We have set aside two Sunday afternoons in the New Year for these classes. We will host the first Seniors' Mixer on Sunday, January 30 and the second only two weeks later on Sunday, February 13. Both classes will start at 2:30 p.m.
We want these mixers to include a balanced mix of men and women for each class. In a class of 10 people, we will only allow classes that are balanced 6-4, or 5-5. We also want people to feel comfortable, knowing their privacy will be protected. Contact information will only be shared when approved.
At this time, we are still working out the details, so we’d really be grateful if you have any feedback on this idea, or feel you might even want to book a place or two at the mixer! If you know a senior who might enjoy attending such a class, why not let them know about ours — or buy them a gift certificate to attend!

Due to continuing price increases for food and groceries over the past five years, we have been forced to raise our own prices to keep up. Therefore, starting on January 1st, we shall be charging $65, plus GST, for our regular classes. Our Premium classes will go up to $70, plus GST.
However, the good news is that you can purchase classes in the New Year for the 2021 price as long as you do so before December 31, 2021. That’s right! Book a regular class now and you will only pay $60, plus GST. Book a premium class and you will pay only $65.00, plus GST.

Premium Classes Open for Everyone in February

For several years, we only offered our premium classes to our private customers. Next year, we’d like all our public customers to try out at least one of the classes we are hosting in February. You have a choice of our Thai Imperial Duck Banquet or Barbecue Lamb Supreme. We’d love to hear what you think about
them!
Our Imperial Thai Duck Banquet class is based on a secret duck recipe that we discovered in Bangkok and improved in North Saanich!
Most people are not aware that lamb and mutton are very popular in Thailand,
because of its high Muslim population. Barbecue Lamb Supreme is our version of a great Muslim favourite.
