Plan your trip on the Flavour Trails this August In 2018 and 2019, I provided appetizers for the Flavour Trails dinner event. Hi everybody, I love living in North Saanich because it is such a mixture of town and farm. Sidney is only minutes away, and the airport,
and the ferry...So, we don’t feel isolated and yet we have the benefit of living in a beautiful rural area and I have my gardens, which help to supply Kallayanee’s Kitchen! And we live in a wonderful community, with many interesting neighbours. That’s why we support the North Saanich Flavour Trails so much. This event includes so many different businesses like: breweries, wineries, restaurants, crafts stores, nurseries, and many more! It is helping to bring
many of us together and helping to grow a more vibrant agricultural community. You can learn lots more on the Flavour Trails website and you can contact the organizers on the site. This will be a two-day celebration held on August 27th-28th. During these two days, many locations will be holding special events, and there will also be an old-fashioned Farm Festival at Sandown Centre for Regenerative Agriculture. The celebration weekend will include over 20 venues where you can meet the makers, take the tours, and visit the
vendors. The North Saanich Flavour Trail is a summer-long celebration. You can explore the roads and byways of North Saanich by bike, car, or hiking. You'll be sure to meet an amazing group of growers, harvesters, fishers, vintners, artists,
chefs and producers who choose to be open for visitors throughout the summer months. Visit once, or visit often. These vendors are open all season, just check their websites for days and hours. Look for Flavour Flags this year along North Saanich country roads to mark locations where you may visit.
