In Thailand, Tom Yum Talay is comfort food for the soul. As well, it combines many ingredients, like Galangal, that in Asia are believed to benefit our physical health.
Fresh Local Ingredients Make the
Difference
I make this delicious hot and sour seafood soup with freshly-caught local halibut, Saltspring Island mussels or clams, and fresh shrimp from the dock in Sidney. You just cannot get seafood this good in Thailand.
These are cooked with chillies, kaffir lime leaves, cilantro, and galangal from my own garden. Add to these fresh limes and lemongrass and you have a spicy, authentic Thai dish that you’ll love to
serve your family and friends!
This is just one of the items on the menu for my next class on Tuesday, September 29. There are four other wonderful items on the menu — and my special surprise dessert at the end of the class. Please
