KALLAYANEE’S KITCHEN: Authentic Thai curries on the menu this Saturday

It's okay to play with Smoke & Fire
Hi everybody,

You can buy canned, or packaged, Thai curries at the supermarket but they are not even close to the real thing! All the sparkling, FRESH aromas and flavours that make Thai curries so special will be missing.

That's why, if you LOVE Thai curries — or if you have never experienced true, authentic Thai curries — you won’t want to miss my Curry Class One, “Smoke and Fire,” this Saturday, starting at 2:30 p.m.

I use nothing but natural, authentic ingredients for the very best results! And you'll be able to experience the difference for yourself after class when you get to eat all the wonderful food you have helped to prepare.

Check out the menu below or do check out the YouTube video just published by my husband, Ry.

Bangkok Noodle Soup
This noodle soup is a wonderful meal in itself that millions of Thai people eat every day.

Panang Curry
This is a milder curry sauce than other Thai curries and can be used with beef, chicken, pork or tofu.

Yellow Curry
A creamy smooth, spicy curry that goes best with halibut, cod, other white fish, or chicken.

Chili Garlic Paste
One of Thailand’s most popular hot sauces, found as a condiment on virtually every table. Commonly used as a spicy flavouring on just about anything.

Red Curry
Perhaps the most popular of the Thai curries. Make it as hot or mild as you like.

Mango and Sticky Rice
The perfect cool dessert for a hot and spicy curry meal.

As always, cost is only $55 per student, plus GST.

Classes tend to fill up early, so book now to avoid disappointment by calling us at 250-656-1227. Curry classes cannot be booked through the Panorama Recreation Centre.

Hope to see you soon!
