Another new Vegetarian Class on Saturday, July 28

Hi everybody,
I love my vegetarian students!Their enthusiastic response to my Thai vegetarian classes has encouraged me to move beyond the ordinary to create new, even more delicious classes this summer.
Last week, it was Thai Vegetarian Lesson Four, “Veggy Comfy
Food Favourites.” Next week, on Saturday, July 28, at 2:30 p.m., I will introduce Thai Vegetarian Lesson Five, “Memories of Isaan,” based on recipes from my home province of Isaan, in Northern Thailand.
This class is packed with flavourful vegetarian surprises that I’m sure you will all enjoy.
Here's what's on the menu:
PEANUTS SWIMMING IN GARLIC AND LIME JUICE An extraordinary appetizer supercharged with chillie peppers, lemongrass, shallots and mushroom soy sauce.
BITTER MELON SOUP An amazingly comforting clear soup combining soft tofu, carrots, bitter melon, vegetarian broth, mushroom soy sauce, black pepper and cilantro.
GOLDEN NUGGETS IN GRANDMA'S HAIR Tofu and fresh pineapple chunks simmered in tamarind and pineapple juice, snuggled up in crispy rice noodles.
YELLOW CURRY TOFU TWISTERS A spicy, authentic vegetarian yellow curry paste heats up carrots and shiitake mushrooms.
THREE MUSHROOM TOFU MEDLEY A festival of delicious mushrooms including King Oysters, Shiitake, and Enoki combined with puff tofu.
RED RUBIES DESSERT Water chestnuts rolled in tapioca flour and served with crushed ice and palm sugar syrup.

Our prices are still $57.75 per person, including GST. In the fall, however, we shall be raising our prices for regular classes to $63, including GST, our
first price increase since we began business more than 10 years ago.
