Fall Classes are Filling Quickly — Don’t Miss Your Chance!

Crispy Spring Rolls help to make Thai Classic Favourites our most popular class.
Hi Everybody,
I hope you had a wonderful summer, have helped your kids get back to school, and are now settled down and ready for the Fall — and another season of Kallayanee’s Kitchen!
At this time, it looks as if we are going to have a very busy Fall season. Our all-time most popular class, Thai Classic Favourites, remains the crowd favourite. Our first class, on Tuesday, September 17, is now fully booked.
But don’t despair! Because this class is so popular, we host four overflow classes throughout September, October and November — and there are still places available in all of them. However, some of these classes are now very close to full capacity. The dates for these classes are below. All of them will be hosted on Saturday afternoons, starting at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 28: 3 places remaining
Saturday, Oct. 12: 3 places remaining
Saturday, Oct. 26: 1 place remaining
Saturday, Nov. 9: 11 places remaining
A number of other classes are also near capacity. I have listed them below. If you’d like to attend, please contact us at your earliest opportunity, before they fill up.
Our Barbecue Lamb Supreme class is usually reserved for Private Classes
but this summer we hosted a class for everyone.
This class is not on our official Fall schedule and I usually reserve it for my private students only. But this August, I decided to host a class for everybody and it turned out to be extremely popular. So popular, in fact, that I have decided to host an overflow class on Saturday, September 21,
at 2:30 p.m. Most of the seats have now been booked so please contact us ASAP if you'd like to join this class! Please note: This is a Premium Class and the price is $65 per person, plus GST.
The highlight of this class is Garlic Prawns, stir-fried in garlic and special Thai spices
This is a wonderful class for seafood lovers, which includes the Garlic Prawns and Tom Yum Talay soup, Thailand's most famous seafood soup. This soup includes shrimp, mussels and white fish. Also on the menu are Mixed Vegetables with Chili Sauce and Yam Moon
Sen, delicious, spicy vermicelli noodles with chicken breast, cooked shrimp and fresh herbs. This class, scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, has seven places open.
Curry Class One: Smoke & Fire

Only fresh, natural ingredients are used in this class
where students learn how to make authentic Thai curries.
My two Authentic Thai Curry Classes are quickly becoming almost as popular as Thai Classic Favourites. Students learn a wonderful variety of dishes including Bangkok Noodle Soup, Panang Curry, Yellow Curry and Red Curry, all made from authentic Thai ingredients.
Curry Class One will be hosted on Saturday, October 5, at 2:30 p.m. Only three places remain at this time.
Thai Prawn Cakes are one of the highlights of this class. Deep fried to a golden brown and served with a special dipping sauce, these are a sure party favourite.
This has always been one of my all-time favourite classes. Drunken Noodles are always at the top of everyone's wish list but there are other highly popular dishes, including Chicken with Rice and Beef and Basil Stir-Fry. At this time, two spots remain for this class, to be held on Tuesday, October 22, at 6:30 p.m.
If you’d like to book a place for this class, or most of the classes in this newsletter, please book ASAP to avoid disappointment! You may book by contacting us directly, by responding to this email, or by phoning: 250-656-1227.Or you may register online through the Panorama Recreation Centre.
PLEASE NOTE: The Curry class and the Lamb class may only be booked through us.
Hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Kallayanee
