Hi everybody,
I can’t believe we are already into March!
But we are and it seems like Spring is just around the corner.
I thought I should send you all an update of what’s happening at Kallayanee’s Kitchen — because a LOT has been happening. We have been very busy with private classes throughout January, February and upcoming in March. However, our public classes will be opening soon, on Tuesday March 17, so we’ll be looking forward to seeing many of you in the next few months.
Only a Few Spots Remain for Thai Classic Favourites
Here is the Elephant in the Room! Thai Classic Favourites is our most popular class. It is so popular that we regularly host this class on the first day of our season, March 17. After that, we host five overflow classes. Trouble is, three of those classes — in addition to the March 17 class — are now fully booked. This leaves only two classes with places available:
May 9: 3 spots available
May 16: 12 spots available
If you’d like to book either one of these dates,
please get in touch with us ASAP as the places are going very quickly. Other classes are also booking quickly, so if you’d like to satisfy your Thai food “fix” this Spring,
please browse our online class syllabus for Spring 2020 to see whether you’d like to attend any one
of our classes.
Private Classes Still Offered in Spring Season
If you can’t make one of your favourite classes for any of the dates that we offer this Spring, you might consider organizing friends, family, or workmates for a private class. We have considerable experience now in hosting private classes and they can be a lot of fun!
Thai Vegan Classes Planned for Fall 2020
We are considering hosting public vegan classes in the Fall this year. In the past, we hosted classes that we described as “vegetarian,” but we have been advised that most people now describe the food they prefer as VEGAN.
So, we are now reviewing our classes for ingredients to ensure they meet VEGAN requirements and will adapt as necessary if there is a demand.
Please get in touch with us if you would like to experience Thai VEGAN classes in the fall and we will add these to our public menus if there is enough demand.
That’s about it for now. But we’ll be keeping you informed as the season progresses.
Sincerely,
Kallayanee
